Terms of Service

1. Who you are agreeing with

MyCG.AI (the website at mycg.ai and the application at app.mycg.ai, together the Service) is operated by two affiliated companies:

• If you are located in the United States, your agreement is with MYCG AI TECH LLC, a Kentucky limited liability company.
• If you are located anywhere else, your agreement is with MYCG AI TECH PRIVATE LIMITED, CIN U62011TS2025PTC198344, a private limited company incorporated in Telangana, India.

In these terms, MyCG.AI, we, us, and our mean the company you contract with under this section. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

2. What the Service is

Finance OS is software that keeps company books from connected bank feeds, prepares invoices, tracks compliance deadlines, stores documents, and answers questions from your records with an AI assistant.

Custom systems (Business OS, Commerce OS, and AI Agents) are built under separate written agreements. Those agreements control custom work; these terms control your use of the hosted Service.

3. Beta status

The Service is currently offered free of charge as a beta. Features may change, be added, or be removed while we build. We work hard to keep your data safe and available during beta, but you accept that a beta product evolves quickly.

When paid plans launch, we will give existing users at least 30 days notice by email before anything starts costing money. Nothing converts to a paid plan silently.

4. Your account

• Sign-in is passwordless: we email you a single-use link or code. Keep control of your email account, because it is the key to your workspace.
• You must give accurate information about yourself and your company.
• You are responsible for the people you invite into your workspace and for what they do there.
• You must be at least 18 and using the Service for business purposes.

5. Your data

Your business records belong to you. You give us only the license needed to host, process, back up, and display them to operate the Service, including sending relevant context to our AI provider when you use AI features.

You can export your books and documents at any time, and you can delete your account as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including any personal data of your contractors, customers, and team.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, launder money, evade tax, infringe anyone's rights, probe or overload our systems, resell access without our written agreement, or upload malicious code. We may suspend an account that endangers the Service or other customers, and we will tell you why.

7. AI features

The assistant and AI categorization generate answers from your records automatically. They are usually right and sometimes wrong. Review AI output before relying on it, especially anything you file, sign, or pay. AI output is information, not advice.

8. Not professional advice

MyCG.AI is a software company. The Service, including the assistant, does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice, and using it does not create a client relationship with any professional firm.

Where the Service offers professional work such as tax filings, that work is performed by qualified professionals under a separate engagement, and you will always know when that is happening.

9. Fees and payment

The Service is free during beta. Published prices for future plans, when they exist, will be shown before you pay, processed by Stripe, and governed by the Refund Policy. Custom builds are quoted and invoiced under their own agreements.

10. Third-party services

Bank connections run through Plaid, or through tokens you create with Mercury or Wise. Payments run through Stripe. Email runs through Resend. AI runs through Anthropic. These providers have their own terms for the parts they operate, and we are not responsible for outages or changes on their side, though we will always work to route around them.

11. Term and termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end accounts that violate these terms, and we can retire the Service or a feature with at least 60 days notice, during which you can export everything.

Sections about your data, disclaimers, liability, and governing law survive termination.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and during beta you should expect rough edges.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, neither company is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for all claims together is capped at the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 US dollars.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.

14. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your data, your use of the Service in violation of these terms, or your violation of law, except to the extent we caused the problem.

15. Governing law and disputes

• If you contract with MYCG AI TECH LLC: these terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA, without regard to conflict of laws rules, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in Kentucky.
• If you contract with MYCG AI TECH PRIVATE LIMITED: these terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes belong to the courts of Hyderabad, Telangana.

Before filing anything anywhere, email team@mycg.ai. Most problems are fixable in one conversation.

16. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, we will email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect and note the new date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the new terms.
